 1. Glove material for mechanical damage

(1) Metal wire ---- Common stainless steel wire, there are also chromium wire, mainly used to make cut-resistant gloves. This kind of material has the strongest cutting resistance and is easy to clean, but it is heavy and inconvenient to use.

(2)Kevlar, Spectra and other synthetic yarn ---- is also a better synthetic fiber cutting resistance material, although the cutting resistance is not as good as metal wire, but light weight, comfortable to use, and after improvement and treatment, some products can also reach the highest grade of anti-cutting product standards.

(3) Nitrile (with fabric lining) ---- has anti-wear and anti-puncture properties, flexible and comfortable use.

(4) Natural latex (with fabric lining) ---- has excellent elasticity, especially flexible, and has certain anti-wear, anti-tear and anti-cutting properties.

(5)PVC (with fabric lining) ---- can provide a certain amount of wear and puncture protection, if the material is thicker, it can also have a certain amount of cutting resistance, but not tear resistance.

(6) skin ---- natural material, through a variety of tanning treatment, with unique properties. Leather can be divided into: cowhide, which is comfortable, durable, breathable and wear-resistant, corroded by chromium, is more durable and resistant to high temperatures; Pig skin, large pores, the best air permeability, after washing can still maintain a good softness without hardening; Sheepskin is the most comfortable, the most durable and the best wear resistance, but because the price is too expensive, it is generally only used in industries with high touch requirements.

2. High temperature resistant glove material

(1)Novoloid---- A new high-tech synthetic fiber, non-melting, flame resistance, high temperature resistance, can resist high temperature up to 1100℃, soft and comfortable, and can resist the erosion of many chemical substances, even after repeated washing will not affect its high temperature resistance.

(2)Kevlar---- is a widely used aromatic synthetic fiber that is not only cut resistant, but also resistant to high temperature damage.

(3) aluminum-plated material ---- can resist high temperature radiant heat.

(4) Skin ----, if kept dry, has good low temperature resistance, at the same time, its non-melting, non-burning characteristics make it often used to make electric welding gloves.

(5) Cotton ---- is also a natural material, can properly protect against high and low temperatures. However, due to the need to meet the protection requirements, the gloves are thicker and the flexibility is not good enough.

3. Anti-electrical damage glove material

Electrical insulation gloves are specially designed and rigorously tested to ensure safety.

Electrical insulation gloves are usually made of pure natural latex. There are two kinds of latex, dry and wet. Insulating gloves made of wet glue have a long processing cycle and high production costs, but the elasticity of the product is particularly good and the use is very flexible. In addition, due to the particularity of live work and the characteristics of electrical insulation gloves themselves, when wearing such gloves, you should first wear pure cotton gloves (sweat absorption, non-slip), then wear latex gloves, and finally wear epithelial protective gloves to prevent sharp objects from punctured insulation gloves.

4. Material of anti-chemical gloves

There are many kinds of chemical substances in the material of anti-chemical gloves, and their properties are different, and special attention should be paid to the selection of anti-chemical gloves.

(1) natural latex ---- In general, natural latex has a good protective effect on aqueous solutions, such as acid and alkali water solutions. Its advantages are comfortable, good flexibility, flexible use.

(2) Nitrile ---- has good protective properties against oils, lipids, petrochemical products, lubricants and various solvents of chemical substances. However, swelling will occur in some solvents, which will affect its physical properties and reduce the protective function.

(3) Polyvinyl chloride ---- has a protective effect on a large number of water-soluble chemicals, such as acids, alkalis, etc., but can not protect organic substances such as solvents, because many solvents will make the plasticizer dissolve out, which will not only cause pollution, but also greatly reduce the barrier function of gloves.

(4) Neoprene rubber ---- has little difference in comfort with natural rubber. It has a good protective effect on petrochemical products and lubricants, can resist ozone and ultraviolet light, and also has strong anti-aging properties.

(5) polyvinyl alcohol ---- has a good protective effect on most organic solvents, but it is easily soluble in water, which will reduce its efficacy after water, and the material is hard and inconvenient to process.

(6) butyl synthetic rubber ---- has a good protective effect on organic compounds and strong acids, difficult production and processing, almost no protective effect on oil and fat, but has a particularly good protective performance on gas.

(7) fluorine rubber ---- fluorinated polymer, the base is similar to Teflon (polytetrafluoroethylene) class, its surface activation energy is low, so droplets will not stay on the surface, can prevent chemical penetration, for chlorine-containing solvents and aromatic hydrocarbons have a good protective effect.

(8) chlorosulfonated polyethylene ---- has protective properties for most chemical substances, can protect alkali, oil, fuel and many solvents, and has good high and low temperature resistance, wear resistance, bending resistance and so on.

5. Anti-vibration gloves

The material is usually a three-layer structural glove, the inner and outer layer is leather or soft and comfortable synthetic fiber, and the middle layer is silicone or other high polymer that can effectively absorb vibration. Glove selection and use of precautions Whether the choice of gloves is appropriate or not, the use of correct or not, are directly related to the health of the hand. overgloves
